New Dress for Birthday Night
It was my birthday on January 28th!!! I had such a great birthday and thank y’all for the birthday wishes 🙂
I didn’t do anything too special except go out for dinner with my mom but I’m having a birthday lunch with a few of my friends next week. We went to a restaurant called Figures in Yorkville, and it was super cool because it has a comic book theme and even the entrance is like a figure display room and you can actually purchase everything on display as well. Toronto is currently having this event called Winterlicious, which is basically a bunch of participating restaurants that serve a special course meal for a set prize of either $33, $43, or $53 for dinner and I think it’s a bit cheaper for lunch as well. Figures was more on the expensive side but we went because it was my birthday. For appetizer, I got the sea salt croquettes. For the main course, I had the chicken supreme, and for dessert, I had my favourite – creme brûlée! They were all so delicious and I would love to go again sometime to try the different dishes that aren’t part of the Winterlicious menu as well.
I decided to wear a dress (even though it’s the middle of winter and it was freezing cold). I don’t know where or when I got this dress – I found it in my dresser and it was cute, so I just decided to wear it. Of course, I matched the dress with my denim jacket from Aritzia and my thigh high boots from Call it Spring, which I’ve mentioned a couple of times in my other blog posts.
