Fall into Autumn
It has basically been 2 months since my last post and I’m officially starting to get back to blogging! I know that fall/autumn is almost over and winter is coming soon 🙁 so I thought I’d share with you some exciting things I did over the past 2 months.
When I was little, I used to go apple picking pretty often but I haven’t gone for the past 4 years, so we decided to finally give it a shot again! We went to Pine Farms Orchard, and their apple farm was pretty big, so we got about $100 worth of apples. Unfortunately, their farm is not organic and it is slightly pricey, so plan accordingly! I still had fun though and it was nice to go apple picking because I haven’t been in 4 years 🙂 My outfit for that day was more on the sporty/casual side because I wanted to be comfy to stand and walk around a lot.
Almost every year during the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, my family goes to Algonquin Provincial Park to go hiking and for the amazing views. We stayed in Algonquin for one night, so we got to hike for two days total. On the second day, it rained a bit in the morning but thankfully it cleared up, so we went on a 6 hour trail!
Just last weekend I went to the Art Gallery of Ontario to see the Guillermo del Toro: At Home with Monsters exhibition. I didn’t really know what to expect but it was really unique and had a lot of cool sculptures on display. After visiting the AGO, I went to see Cirque de Soleil Volta! I’d never been to a circus before and it was such a fun experience to see everything in live action. My absolute favourite part was the bicycle tricks – they were beyond my imagination! Plus I got cotton candy, which made everything 100x better 🙂
That’s it for now!
